Aaron Goldman is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and community organizer based in Austin, TX. He specializes in community-based art that promotes social, economic, and environmental justice. With a passion for connecting with his local community, Aaron has organized and led numerous initiatives, working cooperatively with local organizations to create innovative and collaborative art projects.
 

Drawing from his experience with solidarity economy, research, and practices, Aaron's work aims to promote community-focused models that challenge injustice in our world. His diverse skill set allows him to work across a variety of media, including illustration, printmaking, digital media, sculpture/installation, and performance. He brings a unique perspective to his work, emphasizing inclusivity and collaboration as key values in the making process.
 

Aaron received a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas in Austin in 2012 and an MFA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland in 2017. He currently works as an artist and an Exhibit Coordinator at the Austin History Center.
