The Apartment

Art is not just what is hung on or around the walls, it is the lives we all live trying to make it. In The Apartment, I lived in the Rouse Gallery for 77 days as an ongoing performance in reaction to student housing issues and to protest the insufficient use of space by Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The space was remade into a living space, with plenty of books and records to share. I hosted a housewarming party on  July 3rd, 2016 with an obstacle course, activities, snacks, and refreshments.
